Hindi speaking practice for children in Hyderabad

Plenty of Hyderabad children understand more Hindi than they let on, and still answer in English or Telugu every time. Ten minutes of talking to Kiki each evening turns the understanding into speaking.

Understanding Hindi and speaking Hindi are two different skills.

Hyderabad is an easier Hindi city than most of the south. Children pick up Dakhni on the street, from drivers, from shopkeepers, from television. Parents assume that means the Hindi is fine.

Then the child has to speak in class, or on a call to family in the north, and it comes out in fragments. Street Hindi and school Hindi are different registers, and neither gets practised in full sentences. The gap shows up first in the oral parts of Hindi class, and later in how confident the child feels about the subject overall.

The fix is not more grammar. It is a few minutes a day of actually talking, where nobody laughs and nothing is graded.

What ten minutes with Kiki actually is

Kiki is a character built for children, not a chat window. Your child taps once and talks. No typing, no reading required to start, no homework to submit.

They speak out loud

A real voice conversation on a topic they picked, closer to talking to a cousin than to an app

No Hindi needed at home

Built for children whose family speaks Telugu, English or Hindi. Kiki gives the sentence and the meaning when they are stuck

Effort, not correctness

Half a Hindi sentence and then English? Kiki takes the Hindi, keeps going, and builds from there. Children do not get marked wrong

You see everything

A weekly report shows what your child said, the words they used, and what Kiki is working on next

Children in CBSE, ICSE and state-board schools all use it. Kiki follows your child, not a syllabus.

What this does, and what it does not

Hindi Tutor builds spoken Hindi. Vocabulary, confidence, and the habit of forming sentences out loud without translating from English first.

It is not exam coaching. Most of the marks in school Hindi come from writing, and we do not claim to move a written score. If your child is failing the written paper, they need a teacher for that, and many families use us alongside one.

What parents tell us changes first is the attitude. The child stops dreading Hindi period, because for the first time the language is something they can use rather than something they get corrected on.

Questions Hyderabad parents ask

My child already speaks some Hindi. Is this too basic? +
Kiki starts by listening. A child who already speaks gets longer conversations, harder topics and corrections on the small things that stick out, like gender and tenses. A child who freezes gets two-choice questions and the sentence written out for them. Same Kiki, different starting point.
Will this improve my child's Hindi marks? +
Not directly, and we would rather say so. School Hindi is mostly a written paper, and Kiki works on speaking, listening and vocabulary. What we do change is how the child feels about the subject, which is usually the reason the marks are low in the first place. Families who need the written paper fixed should keep their tutor and use us for the speaking.
Is this a live tutor or a recorded class? +
Neither. Kiki is a character your child talks to, any time, for as long as they want. There is no class to attend, nothing to schedule, and no travel. That is why it fits into a school week when a tuition slot does not.
Is it safe? What happens to my child's voice? +
Kiki only talks about the topics in the programme. There is no open chat your child can wander into. You can read every conversation your child has, and the weekly report shows you exactly what was said. Full details are on our child safety page.
What do we need to run it? +
A phone, tablet or computer with a microphone, and a normal internet connection. There is nothing to install. Most families in Hyderabad do it after dinner, on a parent's phone.
